Diouma's Group's story

This group was created in May 2010. Its members all live in the same district and work to support one another.

Colette (standing on the far right with her hand raised, in the photo) is the group representative. She is 36 years old, married and mother to three children. She has been raising pigs for a living for several years, and has a good network of loyal customers.

Colette plans to use her loan to buy 5 piglets for 20,000 francs CFA each, and a sow for 25,000 francs CFA. Her aim is to provide for the needs of her family and contribute to the education and healthcare of her children.
