Integrantes De La Manzana Group's story

Catalina, 45, states that as a mother of four children, she has been preoccupied by the wellbeing of her children, and she needed to find some way of helping with the household expenses. She married Andrés 26 years ago, and at the moment, only one of their children depends on them. Over 22 years ago, Catalina started working selling hosiery, and coincidentally, Andrés's family also sold these products at other markets. She started going out to sell in different communities as well as states around the country because she knew this was the way to help her husband.

Later on, Catalina found out about VisionFund Mexico and started using their loans to invest in merchandise for her own store which is separate from her husband's. Catalina states that her biggest goal is to help her daughter who is about to finish her nursing degree. Like Catalina, the other members of the group also want to achieve their dreams, which is why they need to grow their businesses. Catalina and Itzayana will invest in hosiery (socks, stocking), Javier will purchase plastic goods and hosiery, and Oscar will purchase glasses.

In this group: Catalina, Oscar, Javier, Itzayana
