A loan of $350 helped to purchase manure, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and pay labor costs for her corn crop.

Meyber Evelyn's story

Meyber, 40 years old, completed secondary school and is married. Her spouse works as a bookkeeper in a business that sells spare parts. She has two children who live in the house and are students.

Meyber works in agriculture, she has done so for over 8 years and learned it from her father. She decided to do it to have food for her family and the livestock because she also works with cattle. Before, she had a small shop. The distance is about 3 km and she walks; her husband and children help out on the weekend.

The loan that she is requesting is to purchase manure, fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, and to pay labor costs for her corn crop. The loan will help her because she will be able to purchase agricultural supplies all at once and have them to apply them at the right time. As for her quality of life, it will be better due to having basic grains, and in addition, the work routine gives her a better quality of life.

Her dreams are to continue working the best she can, in regards to her business, and in regards to her children, that they study and prepare themselves academically so they can have a better future.
