A loan of $300 helped increase the quantity of animals that she has for sale.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 51 years old and lives alone due to the fact that she became a widow and has had no children. She makes a living selling small animals such as guinea pigs, chickens, etc., which she raises in her own home and later goes to sell them at the Saturday market in the city of Puno. Rosa has always liked animals, taking care of them and feeding them makes her become fond of them, which makes her enjoy her work. At the same time, she hates to have to leave them and go to sell them, since she has grown to care for them so very much. The business is doing very well and Rosa dedicates a lot of her time to it, especially since she is alone and the animals are her only distraction. This is her first loan with Microfinanzas Prisma. Rosa wants to invest the funds that she is requesting in the purchase of more animals, food for them, and to fix and enlarge the kennel.
