Rasul's story

Rasul R., age 49, has run his own food store in the small village of Sabirabad City since 1998. Rasul has 10 years of experience in selling foodstuffs. Rasul is married and has three children who all study at school.

Unemployment and financial hardship pushed Rasul to start a business by opening his store. Now he is doing well and his store brings him a stable income. Rasul is also a farmer and keeps livestock. Rasul successfully repaid his first loan. Now he would like a new loan to purchase more foodstuffs, such as cookies, candies, sugar, and macaroni.
