Clara Domitila

A loan of $325 helped purchase a wide variety of vegetables and beans.

Clara Domitila's story

Clara is a member of The Violets II Communal Bank and lives in the San Martín region of Peru. She is a 41-year-old mother of three, and her children are all in school and her constant motivation. She makes a living selling vegetable dishes and stews at a post in her local market. With the loan she is requesting, which she plans to repay within six months, she will purchase vegetables such as cabbage, carrots, chilis, peppers, cauliflower, pumpkins, celery, leeks and other vegetables that she needs to to make her different vegetable dishes (soups, salads, casseroles, etc.). She will also purchase different types of beans. Clara is a very hard-working woman who wants to grow her business. In the future, she would like to become a vegetable wholesaler and see her children become successful.
