A loan of $1,925 helped to purchase an additional cow and calf.

Azada's story

Azada is a 21-year-old young woman, and she is married with one kid. She is engaged in milk selling. She has three cows now.

Azada and her husband are IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) and they live in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. The income her business generates is about 250 AZN (Azerbaijani new manat) per month, but it is too low to cover the basic demands of her family.

Milk and dairy products are very popular in Azerbaijan, and that is why she decided to purchase an additional cow and calf. Additional livestock will help her to cover customers' demands, increase income, and thereby, improve the life conditions of her family. Her loan request is 1,500 AZN.
