Marina's story

Marina is 44 years old, she is married common-law, and she has 3 children who bring joy to her life. For exactly the past 8 years she has been selling fruit and juices. But it was 12 years aog that she her convenience store, to which she invests most of her time and it generates the most income. It is very profitable to sell foods also, but she says that she runs the risk that sometimes she doesn't sell out all the food and loses money. But she has seen that it would be best to expand her convenience store and dedicate her time completely there. The most difficult part is when she needs to go out to make her purchases. She doesn't have any staff and during that time she loses clients. This is her 5th loan with Microfinanzas Prisma (Kiva Field Partner). With the funds she has requested she will restock her convenience store and she will purchase holiday items for the Christmas season.
