P. Lina is a hardworking single mother. In addition to caring for her three sons and two daughters, P. Lina owns a sewing business. She earns about $1.25 per day from her business. Her eldest son and eldest daughter both help provide for the family as well. Her daughter works in a factory and earns $60 per month, and her son earns about $40 per month. P. Lina is requesting this loan of $500 to purchase raw materials to make repairs on their home. She is looking forward to making their home safer and more comfortable for her family. In the future she would like to be able to add fruit sales to her sewing business in order to be able to provide a greater income for her family.
