Zenaida A. is 49 years old, married and has six children. She is from Bunawan, Agusan Del Sur and her husband is a farmer. They began as tenant workers of a small parcel of rice field, and this has been their main source of income ever since. Because this did not provide enough for the family's expenses, Zenaida opened a sari-sari store to help bring in extra income for the family.
Through hard work and determination, she was able to make enough money so they could buy their own rice field. She is requesting a loan so she can buy eight bags of fertilizer which will increase the rice yield and provide more profit.
She is been an active member of CEV since 2007, and she is very grateful to be able to take part in all that CEV offers. It has truly been a blessing in her life when times are very hard.
