A loan helped to buy school supplies, books, and uniforms.

Rosario De Lourdes's story

Rosario is friendly and kind. She has been a member of the community bank Mujeres Triunfadoras for 10 years. She likes the group because everyone encourages and helps one another to get their families ahead. The group is united and happy.

She lives near the city center of Cuenca, a city known for its cold climate. It has architectural and natural beauty, with warm people whose varied cuisine captivates the palate of locals and foreigners.

Rosario is 42 years old, divorced, and has three children aged 22, 18, and 13. Her eldest son studies at the university, her second son is in high school, and her young daughter attends a small school in the city. She does not own her own home, but rents instead.

Rosario works every day of the week as a private employee. Her work allows her to have the financial stability to give her children a better future. The money from this loan will be used to buy school supplies, books, and uniforms for her children’s return to classes. Her dream is to own a bazaar.
