A loan of $325 helped to buy sacks of fertilizer to cultivate potatoes.

Lorenza's story

Lorenza is 48 years old and lives with her husband and three children. She has worked in agriculture for almost her whole life, since she comes from a cattle-raising and agriculture family. Because of this, she always plants broad beans, wheat, oca and olluco (tubers indigenous to Peru). For sowing times and when the harvest arrives, she brings it to Huancayo to sell her goods. She also raises animals like cows, pigs, and sheep. She is very satisfied with the work that she does, in addition to it being the inheritance and legacy that her parents left her. She perseveres in spite of the fact that at many times the weather conditions and low temperatures caused losses in her harvest. This is the fifth time that Lorenza has asked for a loan from MFP. She is one of the clients that has proven to be loyal and responsible in her repayments. She is requesting this loan to sow potatoes. She will also buy sacks of fertilizer to prepare her land for the seeds.
