Sugran's story

Sugran baji is the wife of M. and lives in Riwind, Pakistan. She is the mother of four children: three sons and one daughter. All of her children are enrolled in a local school in her neighborhood. M. Idress is a driver by profession and drives a rented auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Sugran baji has a thread selling business. She buys second hand warm sweaters from the old market and pulls the thread out from the sweaters. She then washes the thread and makes a roll with it, and after sells it in the market. Sugran baji successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle) for her husband.
