Tahira's story

Tahira is a 53-year-old married woman who has had a business with her husband for the past two years of selling milk. She has two buffalos which she uses for milk selling to the people of her locality. She also sells butter and cheese to generate an extra amount of profit. Tahira has become famous for providing good-quality milk and makes enough to contribute to her family's income. She has gradually improved her business with the support of the Kashf Foundation. Currently she is in her 9th loan cycle and has applied for a loan of PKR 40,000. This will allow her to purchase one more buffalo. Tahira is hopeful that this loan will be a productive one for her and will bring positive changes to her business.
