A loan of $975 helped compra de fertilizante para sus cultivos.

Maria's story

Maria, 42, is a common-law wife and has 5 children: two are grown and three still live with her.
She has been a farmer since she was a little girl.
Now that she has a family, she grows large quantities of potatoes. Potatoes are a profitable crop for Maria, because in high demand season, the revenue she gets is twice the investment; but in low season, she does not recover much of her investment. Even in this case, Maria keeps on growing potatoes because she does not have any other work to do, nor any other source of income. She tries to grow different types of vegetables to balance her income.

The loan she is requesting is the second from MFP. She has made her payments on time.
This time, the loan will be used to buy a fertilizer called 18 and nitrate. She tells us that the fetilizer 18 is needed to make the potatoes grow larger.
