A loan of $775 helped work capital.

Martha Cecilia's story

Ms. Martha Cecilia Z. D. is a married 41-year-old mother with 2 children. Her eldest child, age 19, is currently in her second year of Business Administration, while her youngest child, age 16, is currently in his fourth year of high school. Her husband works in construction. Her goal is to establish her own business in an optimal location. She also wishes to help her children get ahead and prepare them for tomorrow so that they can get by in the future.

She has been selling medical products for a living for 10 years. Initially, she would sell medical products to the dentistry students on campus at the University of León. Later, she decided to distribute her products to the different pharmacies in León. She is requesting this loan to use as work capital to buy: alcohol, acetone, molds for making dental impressions, etc. She purchases these products in Managua, where she has to search for the place that sells them to her at an affordable price.
