A loan of $1,200 helped to pay for timber and metal bars.

Taimboti's story

This is 35-year-old Taimboti from Chipinge, a town in eastern Zimbabwe. He is married with four children, three attending school. He has no other dependents.

Taimboti runs a manufacturing business producing school furniture, beds and ceilings. The business has been in operation for seven years. He says the main challenge faced is lack of working capital.

Taimboti has requested a loan of $1,200 to purchase timber and metal bars. He says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow him to improve the family's general welfare. In the future, Taimboti plans to be the best furniture manufacturer in town.
