A loan of $2,450 helped a member to buy more foodstuffs such as beans, cassava and sorghum for sale.

Dukundukuri Cb Group's story

Francine is a group leader, aged 52. She is married with five children aged between 12 and 35; they all go to school. The group is called DUKUNDUKURI, which means “let us be honest” in English. They sell different merchandises, but they have something in common, which is to make their businesses more rewarding and help uplift their living standards.

Francine has sold foodstuffs for the past six years. With the loan, she would like to buy more beans, cassava, sorghum and maize flour for sale. The profit from the business will be used to reinvest in the same business.
