His business is the buying and selling of coca. It is an ancient practice that dates back to Incan and pre-Incan times. In order to do his work, he needs to constantly be travelling large distances so he can find product to sell. Julio has goals and needs; one of his dreams is to purchase a lot of land in order to grow his own coca in his native town and he needs to pay for the education of son and also to repair his home in order to improve his quality of life.
And so, Julio is asking for a loan in order to purchase land and to pay for his son's education.
