Fatou Ndiaye's story

Fatou Ndiaye S., age 45, is married and has seven children in her care. She has been a member of the village loan group CESIRI for a year and a half. She wants to bolster her business in palm oil, peanuts, vegetables, and dyed cloth, which she buys in Mali. Her income enables her to help pay the family electricity bill. She is applying for a loan that will be repaid all at once at the end of six months.
