Farah's story

Farah is a 46-year-old married woman. She is a hardworking lady who is helping her family by providing services of tailoring in her community. She has been doing it for the past 12 years. She knows the techniques of stitching very well. Her regular customers are her neighbours and the local community. She earns enough to lead a decent life. To help her continue operations of her business, Farah requested a loan of 45,000 PKR to buy a stock of threads in different colours, and packs of zippers and buttons to meet with the increasing demand. In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
