A loan of $1,150 helped to purchase gardening materials such as wire and baskets and supplies such as seeds and fertilizer.

Hermosa's story

Hermosa is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She was able to buy the needed supplies and materials for her garden business. Her income from the business is assisting her everyday household needs and paying bills. She continues to work to provide for her everyday needs. She also sells frozen foods for additional income.

She would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy gardening materials like wire and baskets and supplies such as seeds and fertilizer needed in her business. Her profits from her business will definitely help sustain their daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Hermosa dreams that her business will grow bigger and hopes to be successful in life. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week and to draw strength and inspiration from God.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
