Dy C., 24, is married and lives with her husband and child in the Siem Reap province, Cambodia. Since 2003, she has been growing rice crops and selling them, making about US$3 per day, while her husband, engaged in the firewood-sales business, earns approximately US$5 per day.
Dy C. would like to take out a loan of US$500 to purchase a cow. The cow will help Dy C. plow the farmland and will pull the cart that Dy C.'s husband uses to transport wood.
