A loan of $2,000 helped to provide filters for his network of kiosk that provide more safe drinking water to remote villages in Papua, Indonesia.

Socrates's story

Clean drinking water is hard to get in the remote jungle covered island of Papua. Because of that, many people get sick from drinking water. Socrates sells Nazava water filters that enable everybody to filter their well, river and rain water so it becomes safe to drink.
Mr Socrates, who sells Nazava Water filters in Papua notices the impact of water filters directly:
“The impact of the use of Nazava Water Filters has been remarkable - people who had stomach ache now experience much better health. Almost every week there is a very touching story of the people in the interior who are not sick anymore because of wear water filter. There are many stories about people walking for a whole day so that they could drink from a water filter that is in another village. Anyway, we are grateful that we can run this service in West Papua.”
Mr Socrates will use this loan to provide filters for his network of kiosks so that together they can tackle the lack of safe drinking water in Papua.
