A loan of $275 helped working capital.

Hyde Del Carmen's story

Hyde del Carmen M. O. is 26 years old, lives with her partner and has 3 children. The oldest is 9 and in second grade, the second one is 4 years old and not yet in school, and the youngest is 7 months old. Her partner works as a bricklayer assistant. Hyde dreams of having her own home and setting up her business there so she can continue earning income for her family as well as to offer more conveniences to her customers. In this way and with her efforts, she will be able to give her children a good future and a good education. She sells merchandise such as clothing for children, sport shirts, socks and underwear and has had this business for the past 5 years. She started the business because she needed to become independent of her family. She began distributing her goods by means of traveling sales and then decided to increase her business so that it could become a source of income for her. The loan is for working capital to invest in more goods and to offer better quality and quantity to her customers and thus, have more earnings and work toward her future plans.
