Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $575 helped to pay for his son's tuition.

Nasibullo's story

Nasibullo is a cheerful and hardworking man, aged 48. He is married, has two dependent children, and works as an electrician at a local factory. His wife works in a sewing shop and earns a small income. He and his wife have always dreamed of giving their children a decent education and try their best to make sure their children grow up to be educated people.

Now Nasibullo's eldest son has finished high school and wants to apply to the medical college. He dreams of becoming a good doctor and helping people. The family will need to pay for the first year of his tuition, but Nasibullo does not have such a large sum of money available immediately. This is why he applied for a loan with Arvand when he learned that it was possible to get a loan to pay for education costs. Nasibullo wants to take out a loan to pay for his son's education. He hopes very much for a positive result and thanks Arvand in advance for the financial support.
