Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 37-year-old Tambudzai from Masvingo. She is married with three children, with two attending school. Tambudzai runs a food and clothing business , selling fish and clothes. The business has been in operation for one and half years. She says the main challenge faced in the clothing business was of stiff competition thereby, diversifying into fishing business, which is currently being affected by a shortage of electricity, resulting in rotting of fish and causing losses.

Tambudzai has requested a loan of $800 to buy fish for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve her welfare, hence helping her to purchase a motor vehicle. In the future, Tambudzai plans to open a full-fledged butchery and grocery store.
