A loan of $750 helped to buy broken plastic materials for recycling.

Peter's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 44-year-old Peter from Harare. He is married with three children and all are attending school. Peter runs a manufacturing business where he recycles broken plastic material. The business has been in operation for six years. He says the main challenge faced is that of limited sources of raw materials.

Peter has requested a loan of $750 to purchase broken raw materials like crates and pellets for recycling. He says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow him to buy his own house and reduce rental bills. In the future Peter plans to manufacture the recycled plastic into final products like plastic dishes and plates.
