A loan of $700 helped to pay for grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her business.

Ma. Linda's story

Ma. Linda has faithfully repaid her previous loan which she used for her business. She has been operating her own “sari-sari” (variety) store for years and she earns well from this. Having a bigger family requires more effort to provide for their needs, especially for her children. She had to work hard, with the determination of having better income, to provide their children with better education. To improve sales, Ma. Linda would like to apply for a new loan to purchase additional grocery goods to sell. With PHP 30,000, she can purchase greater quantities and varieties of grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her business. She sincerely lets you know her heartfelt thanks and appreciation for this assistance in advance. In the future, Ma. Linda hopes that her business will continue to help with their everyday expenditures. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
