A loan of $1,175 helped purchase construction materials to build two walls.

Celso Jesus's story

Mr. Celso P. lives in a neighborhood called Concepción de Maria, in the capital city of Managua. He and his wife have two children, ages 8 and 12, who attend the neighborhood school. Mr. P. has been working as a driver for many years because it has been difficult for him to change occupations, which he would like to do in order to earn more income. He would like to finish building his wooden house and make it out of concrete so that he can have a decent home for his family. He wants to invest this loan in purchasing construction materials as he is going to build the walls of his house. In the long run, he would like to be able to continue with home improvement—his greatest wish.
