Geisel's story

Geisel is a 37-year-old woman, the mother of one child, and the head of the household. She lives with her son, who is in primary school, and two sisters of hers who she has supported from the moment her mother died. She is a very hard-working, earnest woman who has a great desire to get ahead. She has entrepreneurial vision.

Despite her business presenting ups and downs over the two years, it has gone well for her, owing to that she has been able to deal with the acquired obligations. Her business is a stationery store. She counts on a healthy list of customers, thanks to the good treatment and form of payment that she provides to her customers, who are family members, neighbors, school children, and workers from different businesses and institutions in the community of Limón.

She has obtained various loans from the Fundación and has always shown punctuality and responsibility. Now, she is requesting another loan to reinforce her store by purchasing women’s and men’s clothing for her store and so satisfy her customers and generate a higher income to improve her and her family’s quality of life.
