Galina's story

Galina is 39 years old and divorced with two school-aged children. She has a specialized technical education. Since 2005, she has worked in raising livestock and chickens, and she is a master in her field. Her family actively helps her around the farm, which includes three bulls, 15 sheep, 70 pedigreed hens and 300 chickens. Galina sells eggs all year round, and she uses the egg money to buy feed for the animals. She also bakes bread rolls to order and sells them to shopkeepers. Her monthly income is 15,000 som (KGS). With the goal of increasing her head of livestock, Galina has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) to buy one cow and to expand her barn.
