A loan of $1,175 helped to buy food items to stock her store, raw materials, and supplies to increase her production of fast food.

Ariannys's story

Ariannys has two businesses; she sells supplies, food, groceries and products of basic need for the home, and she also sells fast food that she herself prepares. She opened her store three years ago as she knew the business very well since her family always made a living in this business; she has therefore continued the tradition. Her sales are primarily done in cash and on credit from Monday to Sunday, working from 6 in the morning until 10 at night. Her goal is to be able to open another store in order to obtain more earnings and to create a better quality of life for her family. She is currently applying for a Kiva loan, the first financing that she has requested from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, with which she will buy food items to stock her store, raw materials, and supplies to increase her production of fast food. Her business will improve with this investment, as she will increase her coverage of her customers and maximize sales at both of her businesses.
