A loan of $1,500 helped to buy a sewing machine, embroidery machine and a table.

Fadha's story

Fadha is a 39-year-old, married Iraqi woman. She has two children. Fadha started sewing from home five years ago. She bought an old sewing machine to assist her husband with their family's income. Fadha decided to take a loan in order to improve the workplace condition and to be able to increase her production, and generate additional income. She has gained an excellent reputation in the neighborhood, thanks to the quality of her work and affordable prices.

Fadha is requesting a 1,500 USD loan from Izdiharona to buy a new sewing machine, embroidery machine and a table to increase her production. She is aiming to grow her business and open a small sewing shop.

The story of Fadha and her sewing business is just one of the many examples of Izdiharona for Economic Development clients. She preferred to blur her face for cultural reason.
