Maria Erney's story

A mother's love has no limits. It cannot be measured. The things a mother does for her child are just unfathomable. One such mother is María who has a five-year-old son (shown in the photo). María is single and works only for her son's future. After becoming unemployed and María was desperate for work. Now, thanks to an organisation providing legal loans at fixed rates, María can dream of starting her own business to cover household costs and her son's expenses. María is applying for a loan in order to start a business selling ice creams, soft drinks, fizzy drinks and snacks. The loan will be invested in buying a door, a rug, decorations, paint, stock, a freezer and display cases. María's biggest challenge will be gaining customers and establishing her business in a sustainable way for her and her son. She is placing her faith in the loan, which will be a very important step in her life.
