José Dolores's story

José, 58 years old, is a farmer and a day laborer in the northern region of El Salvador, who works with much faith and hope; for this he knows that his wife's presence has been an important part of achieving what he has done to now. They are parents of 8 lovely children, who now are an important support for them. José has been a farmer since he was 8 years old; since he could take a machete in his hand, he has been doing this work with which he manages to harvest in order to be able to feed all of his family. He has done it for a long time, now some of his children are partnered and help him in what they can, and the others still help him about 75%. He feels very proud of them. The loan will be used to purchase corn seed, manure and fertilizer for this season's cornfield that is at its peak; for this the support is very important so that people like José can achieve their goals at a personal level as well as productive. In the future, José is thinking of considerably improving his quality of life, such as this harvest; for this reason it is quite necessary that he continues with this fight since with it he will manage to make a noticeable improvement in his quality of life. So, he says that he will continue working in his agricultural tasks while he still has the strength.
