A loan of $2,200 helped a member operating Capital.

Bonanza Group's story

The “Bonanza” group is represented by Mrs. Marlene, their president. The group includes relatives Yanneth and her daughter Emilene, but each has her own income, so this does not present any problem to the group. The members make their living selling different products, including clothing, food, and cosmetics. One member works in screen-printing and has some tools but is not independent, which is one reason for his seeking financing. He would like to gain independence and open his own business with the experience he has gained in 5 years of work in his field. As in all business, there is always competition, but with their experience and desire to grow the business, the members know that they can advance. The group says that the loan they receive from the Agrocapital Foundation will be used to improve their business and grow capital. One member notes that the members already have experience working in supportive groups with other financial organizations and know the responsibility that comes with a loan.
