A loan of $1,200 helped a member to buy more cosmetics and wigs for resale.

God Is My Helper Group's story

The God is My Helper group is composed of four people who live in the same quarter. They are into the sale of cosmetics, wigs, dough nut, foodstuff and fast food. The featured borrower of the group is Mercy. She is 45 years old, and a single mother of one child. She pays for her child to attend school. To cope with her needs, for the past four years, Mercy has been selling cosmetics and wigs as a secondary saleswoman in her quarter. Mercy buys her products at a market in Ghana. Hoping to give her customers better service, Mercy would like to reinforce her business by increasing her stock of products. To do this, Mercy and the other members of this group request a loan from ID-Ghana.
