A loan of $1,000 helped to buy fruits and vegetables.

Sinikiwe's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 36-year-old Sinikiwe from Harare. She is married with two children, both attending school. Sinikiwe runs a retail business selling fruits and vegetables. The business has been in operation for six years. She says the main challenge she faces is that during winter season, most of her products are in short supply therefore very expensive to purchase, which affects her profits.

Sinikiwe has requested a loan of $1000 to purchase fruits and vegetables to sell. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to increase her profits, which will go a long way in assisting the client in sending her children to better schools.

In the future, Sinikiwe plans to have a cold room of her own for easy storage of her products.
