Abir is a 32-year-old married mother of two, whom she works hard next to her beloved husband in providing them with the necessary living needs. Her low income business combined with her husband's limited monthly salary aren't enough for covering their family's increasing living needs, although her children are enrolled in a public school.

Abir has prepared fishing nets for twenty years; she has a long and wide experience in this domain, which provided her with special talents and customers' trust in this domain, which made her start her own business in 2004. Abir used to work with her parents in this domain, when she had to quit school during elementary stages, to support her parents in their business for better production.

Today Abir is acquiring a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, to buy necessary business tools to make her work easier, in addition to covering necessary family living needs.

She hopes that in the future she can open a special fishing nets sales shop, and develop her business.
