Cathy's story

Cathy is a 23-year-old mother of one from the Binga District of Zimbabwe. She operates her own grocery store and volunteers as a community health activist who disseminates health information to schools and as a Camfed Learner Guide who teaches life skills to young students. With the Kiva loan, Cathy would like to purchase more groceries to sell to increase sales and profits. With the increased sales, she also intends to expand her business, create employment opportunities in her community, and remain financially independent.
