Rozina's story

Rozina is a 34-year-old businesswoman from the Binga District of Zimbabwe. She operates a general store where she sells fruits, tomatoes, onions, and kapenta (dried sardines). Rozina also volunteers as a Camfed Learner Guide, teaching life skills to students in her community. With the Kiva loan, she intends to purchase more fruits and kapenta so that she can meet the demand of her customers. With the increased profits, Rozina would like to build her own shop so that she could cut costs on the rent and expand her business. Rozina is also concerned about creating employment opportunities in her area.
