A loan of $500 helped to make bulk purchases of stationery and groceries.

Immaculate's story

Immaculate is a 21-year-old businesswoman who lives in the Matobo District of Zimbabwe. She has been successfully operating a light grocery and stationery shop. When she is not in her shop, she serves as a Cama member (Camfed alumnae network). As a Cama member, she delivers 'My Better World' sessions in schools that are within her community. With the requested loan she intends to make bulk purchases of stationery, maize, rice, sugar, salt, and flour from wholesalers at lower costs. This will enhance her sales and profit levels. She would also be able to expand her business and create even more employment in her community.
