A loan of $500 helped to purchase more items of clothing to increase her stock.

Bridget's story

Bridget is a 19-year-old woman from the Wedza District of Zimbabwe. She promotes cooperative learning as a volunteer Camfed Learner Guide in the local school and runs her own business.

Bridget has been selling shirts, dresses, jackets, and shoes at the local market since she completed her schooling last year. She really loves her business and would like to increase her sales volume and expand, so she is asking for a Kiva loan for help.

With the loan, Bridget can purchase more items of clothing to increase her stock. If she sells more clothes and expands her business, then Bridget can improve her living standard and create employment opportunities in her community.
