Juan Antonio's story

Juan is 30 years old and has two children. He is a native of el Sauce, a community located in the north of the country. He is hard-working, responsible with the desire to grow as a person. Unfortunately due to a lack of economic resources he could not study for a career as he had to work from an early age to help with the household expenses. Thanks to his effort and desire to get ahead he works raising and selling pigs a business he does at his house. He works at his business 8 hours a day, offering his product.

The objective of the loan is to increase his working capital buying a group of pigs to raise and sell. Juan is grateful for the support that the lenders at Kiva provide to people of meager resources in poor countries like Nicaragua so that they can enjoy dignified work.
