A loan of $500 helped to purchase shoes, slippers, shirts, t-shirts, trousers, skirts, baby clothes, and jewelry in bulk.

Belinda's story

As a Camfed Learner Guide in the Wedza district of Zimbabwe, Belinda volunteers her time to teaching life skills to young students. She also assists elders in her community, and operates a stall at a local flea market where she sells various clothing items and accessories.

Due to the success of her small business and the demand of her customers, Belinda intends to use a Kiva loan to increase her stock. She will purchase shoes, slippers, shirts, t-shirts, trousers, skirts, baby clothes, and jewelry in bulk; one day, Belinda will open her own store. If her business grows, Belinda can continue to support her family.
