A loan of $500 helped to purchase seeds, chemicals, and fertilizer to increase production on her land.

Beaula's story

Beaula runs a gardening business based in the Wedza District of Zimbabwe. For the past two years, she has been growing and selling a wide range and steady supply of fresh produce during the local growing season.

Beaula plans to use the Kiva loan to purchase seeds, chemicals, and fertilizer to increase production on her land. Her hope is to expand the business and become a major provider of vegetables. This will enable her to not only provide for her family’s basic needs, but also to pay for her children’s education.
