Mr. Demecio Gutiérrez is a native of Vallegrande, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, but now lives in Puerto Rico, Torno, Santa Cruz. He has his own home in which he lives with his wife and children.

He works alongside his wife in a duck and animal business in the animal markets of the area. He has worked with EMPRENDER for three years and he says that thanks to the microloans he received, he was able to keep working in his business and he was able to build his house. El Sr. Demecio Gutiérrez es nacido en la localidad de Vallegrande de Santa Cruz, Bolivia, actualmente vive en Pto. Rico, en la localidad del Torno, Santa Cruz, tiene casa propia en la cual vive con su esposa y sus hijos.
El se dedica conjuntamente su esposa al comercio de patos y animales en las feria ganaderas de la localidad. Hace tres años que trabaja con EMPRENDER, él mismo comenta que gracias al microcrédito que le fue otorgado, pudo seguir trabajando con su negocio y así pudo construir su casita los prestamos otorgados fueron de gran beneficio.
