A loan of $2,775 helped a member to maintain his cashew tree orchard.

Yiri Nafa Kabo Group's story

“Yiri nafa kabo” is a cashew-producing group of Sindou, in western Burkina Faso. These producers have been working with ACFIME since 2012 and take out nine-month single-payment loans, given that the work is seasonal. The producers have always been on time with their repayment.

Yacouba is the group’s official. Thanks to this loan, he will be able to maintain his cashew tree orchard. He will also call upon the village associations to help with the weeding, [heating or firing], trimming, and display of the trees. At the end of the season and after the selling, the profit will enable him to take care of his family and to continue his business.

In this group: Sina, Zana, Adama, Ousmane, Jean, Issoufou, Yacouba, Lati, Sibiri, Tiegoué, Ardiouma, Yiridiougou, Blahima
