Zénébou A. was born in 1957 in Bembereke in northen Benin. She is married to Abdoulaye Issiaka, a retired Beninese armed forces agent, and she has three children, none of whom are in her care anymore. She was unable to attend school thanks to the premature death of her mother. Since her youth, she has bought and re-sold various items such as soaps, fruit, and so on. She began an apprenticeship as a seamstress and received her diploma at the end of her apprenticeship. While working at her job, she also started selling yam flour, canned goods, food pastes, and other consumer goods. She is asking for this 12-month loan of 180,000f to raise the level of her business. She intends to supply herself with maize and yams.
